Niche & Specialised Hiring.
Focused research for scarce, technical or emerging capability: roles where the qualified population is small and almost none of it is actively looking.
Overview
For capability the market does not advertise.
Some roles have a qualified population measured in dozens rather than thousands, and almost none of it is on a job board. Specialised hiring starts from that reality rather than from a search string.
The work begins with defining the capability precisely, not the job title, which varies between organisations, but what the person has to be able to do. From there we map where that capability has been built, which is often in adjacent industries rather than the obvious one, and approach people who are not in the market.
This is the right engagement for scarce technical skills, for emerging functions that do not yet have a settled title, and for roles where an internal team has already tried the obvious routes. It is the wrong one for high-volume, repeatable hiring, where an RPO arrangement or contract staffing will serve you better and cost less.
